Discovering the waters of Australia’s Top end

Our mission is to give the opportunity to Marine Biology students and newly researchers to help us unveil the true biodiversity of the Northern Territory waters to find out what needs to be protected.

Please note: We are seeking expressions of interest as we are still in the planning phase, some details may change and more information will be added as it becomes available.

Our Conservation and Environmental Research internship includes

  • Transport

    We take you to and from the research sites and to and from your accommodation and the boat.

  • Accomodation

    All your accomodation is included during the internship.

  • Meals

    Most meals are included.

  • Training

    Experiences may vary depending on the research conducted, may include snorkelling, scuba diving, remote underwater surveying and remote camping.

  • Duration

    1 month minimum, with the possibility to extend your stay (depending on projects, availability and sites access).

  • Requirements

    18+, Currently studying a Marine Biology degree (or related) or recently graduated, comfortable on and in the water and prepared to work in remote locations with limited resources (with limited internet and mobile network connection).
